The change in the IT environment, which can be called the fusion of broadcasting and communication, has been causing numerous changes to existing broadcasting and communication services, and related new fusion technology is being requested. Therefore, the cultivation of specialized manpower for the research of basic technology and the application of Broadcasting•Communication fusion technology to new industrial fields is now urgently required in the area of expanding the national growth engine for the next generation. The objective of this program is to cultivate high class specialized manpower who takes a guiding role in the new turning point of broadcasting and communication by educating job site-requested application technology through educational/industrial collaboration. In addition, other objectives are to educate in order to cultivate specialists with creative ability and to guide new knowledge, technological development, and education and research for 21st century global competitive power that has been pioneered.
